SmartAge participated in the ‘SocTech Symposium 2024’ on 11 December at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. They showcased innovative products and services for elderly care and promoted elderly-friendly technologies. CEO Jason Or discussed SmartAge’s founding background and mission during a panel with ‘Smart People (Smart Ageing)’ Award winners at the Hong Kong ICT Awards. Jason’s inspiration came from his mother’s challenges with existing elderly care services, highlighting the need for improved emergency notification systems. SmartAge aims to provide:
1. Elderly-friendly systems that require no new technology learning.
2. Proactive preventive care using AI to detect health risks.
3. Affordable telecare solutions for remote support.
The event aimed to foster industry collaboration for safer, dignified elderly living.
智齡生活很榮幸參加由香港社會服務聯會主辦的「SocTech Symposium 2024 社創及科技研討會」，活動於2024年12月11日在香港會議展覽中心舉行。在活動中，我們向長者服務團體介紹了公司的創新產品與服務，並藉此機會推動長者友善科技的應用與發展。
會上，我們的行政總裁柯宇聰先生（Jason Or）將與榮獲香港資訊及通訊科技獎「智慧市民（智慧樂齡）」獎的嘉賓一同參與座談會，分享智齡生活的創立背景及其社會使命。
Jason 的靈感來自他個人的經歷。他的母親在居家生活中面臨的挑戰，使他意識到現有長者照顧服務，未能完全支援獨居長者居家的需要。例如，傳統的緊急通報系統通常需要用家主動按鍵才能啟動，但若長者在突發狀況下無法操作，便可能錯失救援良機。因此，智齡生活致力於開發能填補此類空白的解決方案，並實現以下三大目標：
1. 長者友善
系統設計以長者為中心，用戶無需學習新技術，裝置安裝後亦不會影響其日常生活習慣。
2. 主動式預防護理
智齡生活居家系統可記錄長者的生活模式、活動變化及生命體徵數據，透過人工智能進行分析，偵測潛在健康風險，及早通知家屬與照顧者，主動預防並及早介入，降低健康風險。
3. 經濟實惠的遠程護理
提供價格合理的遠程護理解決方案，透過遠程護理，專業的護士可協助家屬與照顧者關懷和照顧長者的需求，提升長者居家安老的生活品質。
我們希望通過這次研討會，與更多業界同仁交流合作，攜手為長者創造更安全、更有尊嚴的居家生活環境。
